EPTRI has been a valued partner of the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India (MEA, GoI) for the Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC) Programme. Beginning with a few ITEC programmes, then as part of the TCS Colombo Plan, EPTRI has conducted forty-three (43) residential courses in the three (3) areas, water, urban development and climate change, of environmental policy sub-systems and has hosted four-hundred eighty-one (481) participants till 2019-20.
